The TETFund Centre of Excellence for Biomedical, Engineering and Agricultural Translational Studies (TCE-BEATS), Nnamdi Azikiwe University was established to focus and embark on innovative and/or incremental solution-oriented translational research, necessitated by identified national developmental challenges and on the long run improve the innovative research capacity of our institution’s students and staff. The major participating faculties of the Institution include the Faculty of Biosciences, Faculty of Health Science and Technology, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, and Faculty of Engineering. However, several multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research works will also be carried out at the Centre that will also involve both national and international researchers.
